About Me:

My name is Christine Denman and I am the owner and primary instructor of our classes. I grew up in Sullivan County NY, near the Neversink Reservoir where local history has always inspired me. I’m passionate about all forms of art and particularly enjoy painting. I earned a degree in Art Education from SUNY New Paltz, and developed a successful art administration career in my role as Gallery Manager at Catskill Art Space in Livingston Manor, NY, where I have over 7 years of experience. My passion for art, sharing and encouraging creativity, and helping others develop their skills is engrained in everything I do!

I aspire to bring art club vibes to a shared studio space where people are engaged in making all kinds of art in a community setting. It’s the coming together of people that makes the magic, because the best way to grow as an artist is alongside others. Art grows here, as well as friendships!
